In Boston Schneider worked as an all-day, week-long special assignment reporter who covered the world of entertainment and lifestyle. She was the weather forecaster for weekends forecaster at WFOR-TV Miami before moving to WB56. She was a meteorologist as well as reporter at News 12 Long Island, which is a 24 hour broadcasting network that is a cable. WXII TV is the NBC affiliate for Winston-Salem which is located in North Carolina. She was also a regular guest for The Saturday Early Show, she worked as meteorologist at CBS at New York City.
